With the transactional app My Contacts you can search for and display existing contacts. You can edit contact details, create new contacts, and start follow-up activities. You can use the app to refer to contact details and also to keep contact details up-to-date. You can also use the app in offline mode on smartphones and tablets.

Key Features
  • Search for contacts by first name, last name, or account

  • Sort the contacts list by first name, last name, and account

  • Display your own contacts (contacts of your own accounts) and all contacts

  • Display communication data, function, notes, and attachments for a contact

  • Call the contact or write an email to the contact directly out of the app

  • Navigate to more details for the contact’s account

  • Edit contact information, add new notes and attachments, add or change the contact’s photo

  • Create a new contact for an existing corporate account or account group

  • Add and change marketing attributes for a contact *

Offline Use on Mobile Devices

With SAP enhancement package 3 for SAP CRM 7.0, you can use the app offline. The following restrictions apply when using the app in offline mode:

  • You can assign an address to a contact but not change the address.

  • You cannot upload, view or delete contact photos.

  • You cannot upload or view attachments.

  • You cannot change marketing attributes, you can only add and delete them.

If you run the app in offline mode, the app stores data on the mobile device. When you have a network connection again, all data that was entered is sent to the back-end when you next save. Data is synchronized once an hour (including retrieving data from the CRM back-end). You can also trigger synchronization from the user options or by swiping down in the account list. You can also trigger synchronization from the user options or by swiping downward in the contact list.

When data is sent to the back end, it is saved even if the same data has also been changed in the back-end in the meantime.


If you want to deploy the app for offline use, you need to implement and configure it, then package it for installation on mobile devices. For more information about packaging, see Preparing SAP Fiori Apps for Offline Use.

Technical Features

In addition, this app supports the following technical features and options. Some of these features require additional components or settings in your system landscape:

  • This app enables you to upload documents. For security reasons, we strongly recommend that you install a virus scanner in your system landscape. For more information, see Virus Scanning.

Navigation Targets

This app enables users to access other apps directly (for example to display detailed information).


Linked apps have to be already available in your system landscape or you have to implement them along with this app.

The app offers the possibility to directly access the My Accounts app.

System Landscape Requirements

In order to be able to implement this app, your system landscape has to be enabled for SAP Fiori. One of the requirements for your system landscape is that your back-end product meets the required product version stack:

  • SAP enhancement package 3 for SAP CRM 7.0 (11 (01/2016))
Note If you want to implement the product on SAP enhancement package 2 for SAP CRM or a lower release, you need to install the software component containing the back-end components of the apps (that is, GBX02CRM 700) separately on your back-end system. This software component is delivered with the product SAP Fiori transactional apps 1.0 for SAP CRM. To install the apps for a lower back-end release, we recommend that you install both the front-end and back-end components with the product SAP Fiori transactional apps 1.0 for SAP CRM.
