With the transactional app Carry Out Sourcing a purchaser can assign or edit sources of supply and create follow-on documents for the items of a shopping cart available under a purchasing group.
View the list of items, filter them based on different criteria and manage these filter criteria as variants
View items that are locked by another user and unlock items locked by another user using the super user authorization
View details of an item including notes and attachments in the item details screen
View the business card of a requester and supplier if a supplier is already assigned
Edit item details such as supplier, delivery date, quantity, unit and price; edit the description and product category for free text items
Select multiple items and edit details such as supplier and delivery date; edit the product category for free text items
View the sources of supply available for an item sorted in the order of expiring contracts, recently used contracts and lowest price; assign a source of supply to the shopping cart item. You can also choose to view expired contracts.
Enter a Note and forward the shopping cart to a different purchasing group
Enter Purchasers' Note and view it under the Notes tab page
Create follow-on documents such as auction, RFx, contract, or purchase order
Append shopping cart items to existing follow on documents like Purchase Order, contract and RFx
Maintain certain header and item level details for a purchase order before its creation and preview its details in a .pdf format
In order to be able to implement this app, your system landscape has to be enabled for SAP Fiori. One of the requirements for your system landscape is that your back-end product meets the required product version stack:
