With the transactional app My Accounts you can search for and display existing accounts. You can display the general data of an account, as well as other related data such as contacts, appointments, and opportunities. You can share or discuss this information in SAP Jam. You can use the app to prepare for a meeting with an account and to update information after the meeting. You can also use the app in offline mode on smartphones and tablets.

Key Features

The availability of the app features depends on the back-end product version in use:

Generally Available

  • Search for and display your own corporate accounts or all corporate accounts

  • Display key figures of an account, such as the expected revenue of opportunities

  • Display contacts, notes, tasks, appointments, attachments, leads, and opportunities for an account

  • Navigate to more detailed information for contacts, tasks, appointments, leads, and opportunities

  • Share account information in SAP Jam groups and discuss it in SAP Jam feeds

  • Change the layout of the search result list by selecting columns and changing the order in which they are displayed

Only Available as of SAP enhancement package 3 for SAP CRM 7.0

  • Create new accounts and edit account data, such as address, rating, or employee responsible

  • Create accounts as prospects, and record the lifecycle stage for accounts

  • Work with individual accounts and account groups

  • Filter the account search results by account type

  • Create contacts, appointments, tasks, notes, opportunities, and leads for an account

  • Add relationships to other partners

  • Display ERP quotations and sales orders for an account

  • Navigate to more detailed information for quotations and sales orders

  • Add and change marketing attributes for an account

  • Personalize the app by hiding views and table columns, and changing the order in which they are displayed

  • Use the app in offline mode

Account Search

For corporate accounts and account groups, you can enter the first and/or second part of the name (Name 1 and/or Name 2).

For individual accounts, you can enter the first name and/or last name.

For all account types, you can also enter a fragment of a name, or an ID.

As of SAP enhancement package 3 for SAP CRM 7.0, or with lower back-end releases and an SAP HANA database, you can search for names containing your search string anywhere in the name. With lower back-end releases and other databases, you can only search for names starting with your search string.

Offline Use on Mobile Devices

As of SAP enhancement package 3 for SAP CRM 7.0, you can use the app offline. The following restrictions apply when using the app in offline mode:

  • You cannot view account images.

  • You cannot upload or view attachments.

  • You cannot change marketing attributes, you can only add and delete them.

  • You cannot view ERP quotations or ERP sales orders for an account.

  • You cannot navigate to the details of tasks, appointments, leads, and opportunities.

  • You cannot create appointments and opportunities.

If you run the app in offline mode, the app stores data on the mobile device. When you have a network connection again, all data that was entered is sent to the back-end when you next save. Data is synchronized once an hour (including retrieving data from the CRM back-end). You can also trigger synchronization from the user options or by swiping down in the account list. When data is sent to the back end, it is saved even if the same data has also been changed in the back-end in the meantime.

If you want to deploy the app for offline use, you need to implement and configure it, then package it for installation on mobile devices. For more information about packaging, see Preparing SAP Fiori Apps for Offline Use.

Technical Features

In addition, this app supports the following technical features and options. Some of these features require additional components or settings in your system landscape:

  • This app contains features based on SAP Jam. To use these features SAP Jam has to be integrated in your SAP Fiori system landscape. For more information, see Integrating SAP Jam.

  • This app enables you to upload documents. For security reasons, we strongly recommend that you install a virus scanner in your system landscape. For more information, see Virus Scanning.

Navigation Targets

This app enables users to access other apps directly (for example to display detailed information).


Linked apps have to be already available in your system landscape or you have to implement them along with this app.

System Landscape Requirements

In order to be able to implement this app, your system landscape has to be enabled for SAP Fiori. One of the requirements for your system landscape is that your back-end product meets the required product version stack:

  • SAP enhancement package 4 for SAP CRM 7.0 (01 (01/2016))
Note If you want to implement the product on SAP enhancement package 2 for SAP CRM or a lower release, you need to install the software component containing the back-end components of the apps (that is, GBX02CRM 700) separately on your back-end system. This software component is delivered with the product SAP Fiori transactional apps 1.0 for SAP CRM. To install the apps for a lower back-end release, we recommend that you install both the front-end and back-end components with the product SAP Fiori transactional apps 1.0 for SAP CRM.
