With the transactional app My Opportunities, you can create, display, edit, and search for opportunities. This app is available for use on desktop PCs or mobile devices, such as smartphones or tablets. You can also use the app in offline mode.

Key Features
  • Search for and display your own opportunities

    • If you are assigned the manager role, you can view either your own opportunities or the opportunities of other employees in your organization.

    • Opportunities can only be searched by ID or name.
  • Create new opportunities and edit opportunity data, such as contact, employee responsible, and sales organization

  • Display the key data of an opportunity, such as account (sales prospect), contact, and employee responsible

  • Display the complete data of an opportunity, such as sales organization, notes, attachments, participants, and transaction history

  • Add, edit, and delete participants, notes, products, and attachments of an opportunity

  • Create follow-up appointments, tasks, and opportunities

  • Set the maximum number of opportunities that you want to display

  • Share opportunity information in SAP Jam groups and discuss it in SAP Jam feeds

  • Use the app in offline mode

Automatic Determination of Participants and Sales Organization

Automatic determination saves you the effort of entering all opportunity data from scratch. The My Opportunities app automatically determines related participants and sales organization according to the predefined rules when you:

  • Create an opportunity and specify an account for it.

  • Create a follow-up opportunity from a task, appointment, or opportunity.

Offline Use on Mobile Devices

The following restrictions apply when you use the app in offline mode:

  • You cannot create new opportunities or edit opportunity data.

  • You cannot upload attachments.

  • You cannot create follow-up appointments, tasks, or opportunities.

Note If you want to deploy the app for offline use, you need to implement and configure it, then package it for installation on mobile devices. For more information about packaging, see Preparing SAP Fiori Apps for Offline Use.
Technical Features

In addition, this app supports the following technical features and options. Some of these features require additional components or settings in your system landscape:

  • This app contains features based on SAP Jam. To use these features SAP Jam has to be integrated in your SAP Fiori system landscape. For more information, see Integrating SAP Jam.

  • This app enables you to upload documents. For security reasons, we strongly recommend that you install a virus scanner in your system landscape. For more information, see Virus Scanning.

Navigation Targets

This app enables users to access other apps directly (for example to display detailed information).


Linked apps have to be already available in your system landscape or you have to implement them along with this app.

System Landscape Requirements

In order to be able to implement this app, your system landscape has to be enabled for SAP Fiori. One of the requirements for your system landscape is that your back-end product meets the required product version stack:

  • SAP enhancement package 3 for SAP CRM 7.0 (11 (01/2016))
  • SAP enhancement package 4 for SAP CRM 7.0 (01 (01/2016))
Note If you want to implement the product on SAP enhancement package 2 for SAP CRM or a lower release, you need to install the software component containing the back-end components of the apps (that is, GBX02CRM 700) separately on your back-end system. This software component is delivered with the product SAP Fiori transactional apps 1.0 for SAP CRM. To install the apps for a lower back-end release, we recommend that you install both the front-end and back-end components with the product SAP Fiori transactional apps 1.0 for SAP CRM.
