Calling Runtime Analysis Tool (RAT)

Prerequisites

Before you can the runtime analysis tool (RAT), you have to activate the Web Dynpro trace tool. Proceed as follows:

1. Start transaction WD_TRACE_TOOL.

2. Choose the Activate for This User pushbutton.

3. On the Selection of Trace Features dialog box, select the WD Component Configuration checkbox, and confirm with OK.

   The message Tracing active for <user name > 30 minutes still appears.

   You can now use RAT.

Procedure

To call RAT, proceed as follows:

1. Start your application.

2. Choose Technical Help from the context menu. A dialog box appears.

3. Open the Adaptations tab.

   The RAT displays the result of the runtime analysis.
