Removing Filters in the Dialog Box

Use

You can delete filters that you defined for columns. The following options are available:

  • Deleting Individual Filters for a Column

  • Delete all filters for a column

  • Delete all filters for all columns simultaneously

  • To find out how to delete filters in the filter line, see Using the Filter Row.

Prerequisites

The Filter tab is displayed in the Settings dialog box.

Procedure

Deleting Individual Filters for a Column

To delete an individual filter for a column for which you have defined multiple filters, open the Settings dialog box (see Using the Dialog Box with Settings for the List).

  1. The Filters tab only exists if it is expressly activated for your application.

  2. Choose the Filters tab.

  3. In the row with the column whose filter you want to delete, select the icon to the right of the relevant row.

    The Multiple Selection dialog box appears. All filters of the column are listed in the dialog box.

  4. Select the entry with the filter that you want to delete, and choose with tooltip Delete Row.

  5. In this way you can delete all filters as required. Choose OK.

Deleting All Filters for a Column

To delete all filters at the same time for a column for which you have defined multiple filters, open the Settings dialog box and select the Filters tab page.

  1. In the row with the column whose filter you want to delete, select the icon to the right of the relevant row.

    The Multiple Selection dialog box appears. All filters of the column are listed in the dialog box.

  2. In the toolbar , with the tooltip chooseDelete Entire Selection with the tooltip and choose OK.

Deleting All Filters of a List Simultaneously

To delete all the filters in the list simultaneously, you have two options:
  • You delete the filter row from the list (see Using the Filter Row).

  • You are working in dialog box Settings.

    1. To delete all filters of a list at the same time in the Settings dialog box, open it and choose the Filters tab page.

    2. Choose Reset All.

    3. Apply your settings to the list.
