Web Dynpro ABAP application WD_ADMIN_CONFIGURATON

Tool for static analysis of component configurations, personalizations, and customizing. Initially, the search by personalizations is displayed. Alternatively, you can

  • Filter by customizings and personalizations
  • Search by configurations
  • Delete the cache

The cache contains customizing and configuration data in an easily accessible format. This cache is deleted when there are changes and imports. In seldom cases (for example, after texts have been translated), the cache cannot be reset. Then it is best to reset the cache using the function provided here. Afterwards, it takes a little longer for users to read the data, but only until the cache is filled again.

In the personalizations and customizings list you can also:

  • Delete
  • Transport customizing data records

Navigate from the results list to the detailed analysis of the adaptation. Then you can:

  • Display detailed data
  • Navigate to the configuration editor, to associated adaptations and to the adaptation display in XML format
  • Make configuration enhancements for test purposes invisible or visible
.
Runtime Analysis Tool (RAT) Tool to ascertain at runtime in which layers (configuration, customizing, or personalization) adaptations have been made to the user interface of a Web Dynpro ABAP application.
