Defining Uploads (Directory -> Server)

With this part of the whitelist you define
  • from which local start directories from which it is to be possible to upload files to locations outside of the system landscape.
  • to which target servers outside of your system landscape it is allowed to upload files.

Procedure: Define the Start Directory

  1. Ensure that you are in the Change "Whitelist" View: Overview view.
  2. Select the line of the whitelist DEFAULT in the table and then open the folder Upload (Directory -> Server) with a double-click. You are now on the Change "Upload (Directory -> Server) Screen: Overview screen. Here you can list different directories and servers for the upload process for the selected whitelist:
  3. Choose the button New Entries (F5) again.
  4. Position your cursor in the upper table field of the Whitelist column and press the F4 button to open the input help. As you had already selected the whitelist in the previous setp, you now just get a select list offered to you in this step. Select the list and close the selection dialog box.
  5. Position the cursor in the relevant table field of the File Storage column and enter the required Start Directory for files to the uploaded to the table.
  6. Save your entries using the Save(Ctrl + S) button. From this local directory the upload of files is now permitted, as long as the whitelist is used (prerequisite).

To create further start directories for the upload, repeat the steps described above.

Procedure: Define the Target Server

Position the cursor in the next table field of the Whitelist column and repeat the procedure described above to define a required Target Server for files to be uploaded outside your system landscape:
