Transporting a Launchpad

Procedure

To transport a launchpad, proceed as follows:

  1. On the SAP Easy Access screen, enter the transaction LPD_CUST in the command field.

  2. Open the launchpad you want to transport in change mode.

  3. Choose Start of the navigation pathLaunchpad Next navigation step TransportEnd of the navigation path.

  4. In the dialog box, enter the package to which you want to assign the texts that you created in the launchpad and choose Continue.

    As a result, the texts are also forwarded to translation.

  5. In the dialog box, enter a Customizing request and choose Continue.

    This request includes the relevant table entries for the following tables:

    • APB_LAUNCHPADT

    • APB_LAUNCHPAD_V

    • APB_LPD_CONTROL

    • APB_LPD_OTR_KEYS

    • APB_LPD_VERSIONS

  6. In the dialog box, enter a Workbench Request.

    This request includes the texts from the launchpad. These are objects of the type R3TR DOCT.

  7. Release both requests.
