Special leave

Definition

"Special leave" is all leave except vacation, non-industrial illnesses and accidents, maternity leave and unpaid leave.

Example Example

Special leave includes, for example, leave due to university examinations, leave to make a blood donation, matrimonial leave, leave due to bereavement, etc.

Example Example

For university examinations the employee has the right to take 10 days leave a year, but no more than two days per exam. For the birth of a child, the employee is entitled to two days leave per birth.
