Defining Report Documentation

  1. From any Create Report screen, choose Start of the navigation path Goto Next navigation step Documentation End of the navigation path .

  2. The screen Change Report Documentation: <Report Description> Language <Language Code> appears.

  3. Enter the report documentation as desired.

  4. For more information about the use of the SAPscript editor for word processing, see the SAP Library under Start of the navigation path Basis Components Next navigation step Basis Services/Communication Interfaces (BC-SRV) Next navigation step SAPscript (BC-SRV-SCR) End of the navigation path .

  5. Choose Start of the navigation path Text Next navigation step Save End of the navigation path .

You will now be able to display the report documentation when you output the report. The name under which the documentation is stored is also displayed.

Example Example

The name of your report library is Z01 , and your report name is Z-REPO . When you define report documentation, it is stored under the report name R_Z01_Z-REPO , where R is for report, Z01 is the library name, and Z-REP0 is the report name.
