Displaying and Deleting Non-Used Variables

You can use the UtilitiesNon-used variables function to see if variables are not being used in your system. You can then delete the variables, if required. You can use this function from the Create/Display/Change/Delete Variable screens.

Procedure

  1. Choose UtilitiesNon-used variables .

  2. The Non-Used Variables screen appears.

  3. Enter data as required.

  4. The data you enter determines the data that is selected for display.

  5. Choose ProgramExecute .

  6. Variables that are not being used in the system are listed by variable name and variable description.

  7. You can use the following additional processing functions on the Non-Used Variables screen.

Print the list of non-used variables.

Edit Display variable

Display the variable on which the cursor is positioned. The system branches to the Display Variable transaction.

Edit Select all

Select all variables in the list for further processing.

Edit Deselect all

Deselect all the selected variables.

Edit Delete variables

Delete the selected variable(s).
