Create and Share Scorecard Dashboards

Create a scorecard dashboard to share a scorecard with specific users or user groups and specify sharing conditions.

This video shows how a data steward creates and shares a scorecard dashboard, and how the collaborator uses the shared dashboard.

  1. Log on to Agile Data Preparation with a user ID that has the DATA_DOMAIN_ADMIN role or a role with the Create right on the Scorecard Dashboard privilege.
  2. Select the Data Domains tile on the home page, and select the Scorecard Sets tab.
  3. From the list on the left panel, select the scorecard set that contains the scorecard for which you want to create a dashboard.
  4. Select the scorecard in the right panel.
  5. (Optional) To filter the scorecard, take any of the following actions on the interactive charts:
    • Click on a bar in any of the interactive charts to obtain the average quality score and trend for that specific rule, quality dimension, or column.

A filter is created when you click a specific bar. You can edit this filter to change what displays. You remove the filter to go back to the original charts.

    • If multiple bars are on a chart, you can select a subset of the bars by clicking outside the first bar and dragging your pointer to select the bars you want.
    Note
When you share a dashboard, the filters you defined are applied, but are not visible to the collaborators.
  6. Click the Add to dashboard icon in the upper right corner.
  7. On the Info tab of the Add to Dashboard dialog:
    1. Enter a name for the dashboard.
    2. (Optional) Enter a description for the dashboard.
  8. (Optional) To share this dashboard, click the Collaborators icon. If you do not share the dashboard now, you can share it later by editing the dashboard.
    1. From the Available users and groups list on the left, select the user IDs and user groups with whom you want to share this scorecard dashboard.

By default, a selected user or group cannot filter the shared dashboard and cannot view the failing records.

    2. (Optional) If you want a collaborator to be able to filter the shared dashboard, click the filter icon under the specific collaborator name in the Selected users or groups list on the right panel.
    3. (Optional) If you want a collaborator to be able to view the failing records, click the eye icon under the specific collaborator name in the Selected users or groups list on the right panel.
  9. Click Add to Dashboard to save the dashboard.

Collaborators receive a notification that the scorecard dashboard has been shared with them.
