Import Data from Clipboard
Copy tabular data content from an open file or web browser on your local computer and
paste it into a worksheet in SAP Agile Data Preparation.
Note
-
When using Firefox or Internet Explorer browsers, pasting a CSV
file that is 50MB or greater will cause the browser to freeze or
crash.

When pasting a table with special characters or data types that
are not strings, only one column will appear in the created
worksheet.

Navigate to the Paste Data dialog in one of the following
ways,
- When you create a project and Create worksheet from...
appears, select the Clipboard icon.
- If you already have worksheets in your project, click the “+” sign
near the top of the screen next to the last worksheet name, and select
Paste From Clipboard.

Copy a data table from your browser or any external resource.
Note
Make sure every column has the same number of rows in the dataset you
copy.

In the Paste Data dialog of the application, paste your data into
the first text entry field.

Enter a name for your worksheet.

(Optional) By default, the Set first row as header
option is deselected. To make the first row appear as a header in your
worksheet, select this checkbox.

(Optional) By default, the Store Data option is
selected. This option stores the data in your worksheet in your local user
directory so that the data is still accessible if the worksheet is removed. If
you do not wish to keep a back-up copy in your user directory, deselect this
check box.

Select Create.
Your newly created worksheet appears.
