Import Data from Clipboard

Copy tabular data content from an open file or web browser on your local computer and paste it into a worksheet in SAP Agile Data Preparation.

Note
  • When using Firefox or Internet Explorer browsers, pasting a CSV file that is 50MB or greater will cause the browser to freeze or crash.

  • When pasting a table with special characters or data types that are not strings, only one column will appear in the created worksheet.

  1. Navigate to the Paste Data dialog in one of the following ways,
    • When you create a project and Create worksheet from... appears, select the Clipboard icon.
    • If you already have worksheets in your project, click the “+” sign near the top of the screen next to the last worksheet name, and select Paste From Clipboard.
  2. Copy a data table from your browser or any external resource.
    Note
Make sure every column has the same number of rows in the dataset you copy.
  3. In the Paste Data dialog of the application, paste your data into the first text entry field.
  4. Enter a name for your worksheet.
