Exporting a Project

Prerequisites

The mapping and field assignments for a migration object already exist.

Context

It is a good idea to perform the migration from a legacy system to the SAP system in a test system first. This function is used to transfer the field assignments developed to the production system.

Procedure


  1. On the LSMW initial screen, choose Start of the navigation pathExtras Next navigation step Export ProjectEnd of the navigation path. A dialog box appears.

  2. Select the corresponding project. Choose Continue.

  3. The structure hierarchy of the selected project is displayed. Either Select / Deselect parts of the project or export the overall project.

  4. Choose Start of the navigation pathExport Conversion Rules Next navigation step ExportEnd of the navigation path. A dialog box appears.

  5. Specify the file name and path.

  6. To confirm, choose Open.

Results

The mapping and field assignments are exported.
