Long Texts
Definition
Long texts are texts that consists of multiple lines. They are located in a text pool in the SAP system. The text pool is a part of the database.
Use
Long texts are used for information exchange purposes. In Sales, for example, there are sales notes on customers or sales texts on materials.
Structure
In the SAP system, the key of a long text consists of four parts in total:
