Assigning Fixed Values

Procedure

From the list of steps, choose Maintain Field Mapping and Conversion Rules. A dialog box is displayed.
Position the cursor on the appropriate SAP field.
Choose Fixed Value. A dialog box appears.
Either enter the fixed value or select it from the list. A dialog box appears.
The fixed value is created. The Field Mapping and Conversion Rules screen appears again.

Note

The link between the fixed value and the target field is established through the name of the target field. If target fields with the same contents have different names in your object, you can choose Select to determine whether a fixed value has already been created for any of the respective target fields. If so, select this fixed value for the remaining target fields as well. Otherwise, create a new fixed value.
