Use
To perform activities in the LSM Workbench, you require the appropriate authorizations. The LSM Workbench has the following four authorization levels:
|
Authorization Level |
Profile |
Function |
|
Display |
B_LSMW_SHOW |
The user can display all the projects and their associated steps. The user is not allowed to switch to the change mode. |
|
Execute |
B_LSMW_EXEC |
The user can display as well as read, convert, and import data. |
|
Change |
B_LSMW_CHG |
The user has Execute authorization and, in addition, can change and copy objects. |
|
Administration |
B_LSMW_ALL |
The user can use all the functions provided by the tool. |
With LSMW version 1.8.0, the LSM Workbench was extended with additional authorization checks. The system now uses the authorization object B_LSMW to check for project-independent authorizations and B_LSMW_PRO to check for project-dependent authorizations. Users with no authorizations for these objects can no longer work with the LSM Workbench.
There are also the user roles SAP_BC_SRV_DX_ADMIN for administrative tasks and SAP_BC_SRV_DX_MANAGER for executing activities. In addition to authorizations for the LSMW, these roles also contain authorizations for the DX Workbench. For example, all activities are assigned to the LSM Workbench administrator, for example, also change authorizations. The manager can only display and execute.
The authorization profiles listed below are also available fort he LSM Workbench.
