Starting the Conversion Assistant

Use

You want to create a conversion proposal.

Procedure

The conversion assistant is started from the Data Transfer Workbench:

  1. In the Data Transfer Workbench ( Start of the navigation pathSAP Menu Next navigation step Tools Next navigation step Data Transfer WorkbenchEnd of the navigation path or transaction SXDA), choose Start of the navigation pathGoto Next navigation step DX ToolsEnd of the navigation path. The Data Transfer - Tools screen appears.

  2. Choose the relevant task type, program type, and program/method for an object type.

  3. In the Data Transfer - Tools screen, choose Start of the navigation pathGoto Next navigation step Conversion AssistantEnd of the navigation path.

The Conversion assistant initial screen is displayed.

Features

You can create, change, display, or delete a conversion proposal from the Conversion proposal menu.

A recording of a transaction can be created directly by choosing the (Create recording) pushbutton.

Choose Start of the navigation pathGoto Next navigation step Transaction RecorderEnd of the navigation path to go to the transaction recorder.

Result

  1. You can now create a recording of a transaction.

  2. You can then create a conversion proposal.
