Changing a Hierarchy: Deleting Assignments

Process

To remove one or more objects from the hierarchy, proceed as follows:

  1. Select the objects to be removed by positioning the cursor on each of the objects and activating Select/Deselect Node (for entity types) or Sel./Desel. Subtree (for data models).

  2. Choose Start of the navigation pathModeling Object Next navigation step Delete AssignmentEnd of the navigation path.

The objects are automatically removed from the hierarchy.
