Overview of common issues and available support features.

Preflight Check

When facing errors at runtime you can check the back-end configuration. For that a set of tests will be executed checking the connectivity, verifying the back-end compatibility and searching for missing SAP Notes. The test result also gives further instructions on how to resolve identified issues.

The check can either be performed for mobile applications or for the direct consumption use-case.

Testing Mobile Consumption

  1. In Mobile Services cockpit, select Mobile Applications > Native/Hybrid

  2. Select the app you are using Mobile Transaction Bridge in.

  3. Click on the Mobile Connectivity link in the Assigned Features area.

  4. Under Actions, click the Preflight Check icon survey for the destination you want to test. The test instructions will appear.

  5. Click OK to start the test. A new tab will be opened.

  6. If prompted, enter your credentials and wait for test to be completed.

  7. The result will display the number of passed and failed tests. By clicking the Details button you can retrieve more information for every test including further instructions on how to resolve identified issues.

  8. If all tests have been passed, your back end is ready to be used with Mobile Transaction Bridge.

Testing Direct Consumption

  1. In Mobile Services cockpit, select Settings > Mobile Transaction Bridge

  2. Click on the Destinations tab in the top header.

  3. Under Actions, click the Preflight Check icon survey for the destination you want to test. The test instructions will appear.

  4. Click OK to start the test. A new tab will be opened.

  5. If prompted, enter your credentials and wait for test to be completed.

  6. The result will display the number of passed and failed tests. By clicking the Details button you can retrieve more information for every test including further instructions on how to resolve identified issues.

  7. If all tests have been passed, your back end is ready to be used with Mobile Transaction Bridge.
