Starting Application Server on a Microsoft Windows Server
Use
You must verify that your connections and processes are running properly.
Prerequisites
Application Server is installed on a Microsoft Windows server.
Procedure
-
On the Microsoft Windows server, choose Start on your Microsoft Windows Desktop, and then choose . A Logon dialog box appears.
-
In the User name text box, type the following user name, which is created at installation:
admin
-
Do not enter any values in the Password and Server boxes. The admin user does not have a password. The server is a local configuration so you do not need to specify a server here. Click OK.
-
If you encounter the following error message twice, it indicates that the Microsoft Windows machine does not have a component of a Microsoft redistributable (MSFlxgrd.ocx).
