Stopping Services

If Application Server is installed on a Microsoft Windows server, go to the Services program in Administrative Tools and stop the SAP SM Listener.

If Application Server is installed on a UNIX/Linux server, log on as root and stop the Application Server TCP/IP Listener daemon by running the following:
