Configure Trust in the Cloud Connector for PCo
If there is no entry in the Configuration Trust Store section of the Cloud Connector, then the Cloud Connector will trust any server. This is the default setting.
In order to establish a secure communication between PCo and the Cloud Connector, it is necessary to upload either one of the following certificates to the trust store of the Cloud Connector:
-
The self-signed certificate that is used for the cloud services hosted by the PCo main service.
-
The root certificate of a Certification Authority (CA) that issued the certificate that is used for the PCo cloud services.
PCo uses the certificate for identification. By uploading one of these certificates to the Trust Store of the Cloud Connector, PCo becomes trustworthy.
