Software Configuration/ Administration Tools

In the Plant Connectivity Management Console, you can perform all necessary configuration and administration steps as described in the Plant Connectivity documentation.

To obtain the complete configuration of PCo in an XML format, you can use the Import/Export functionality in the PCo Management Console under Plant Connectivity   Import/Export   Export Agent Instances . Here, you can select the configuration elements (source systems, destination systems, agent instances) that shall be exported.

The export functionality ensures that the exported configuration is self-contained and includes all configuration elements that are dependent on each other.

You can use the export/import functionality to distribute configuration elements from one machine to other machines (roll out).
