Use

Managers can use this iView to search for running or completed processes that were run for an employee in their area of responsibility. Managers determine the required employee in the Employee Search iView.

When managers call the iView, the following search criteria are filled:

Employee = employee selected in Employee Search iView
Selection period = current year

When it is called, the iView immediately displays a list of all the processes that meet these search criteria. If the process searched for is not included in this list, the manager can change all search criteria, except for the employee, and start a new search.

The manager can also display a list of the process steps for a process.

Caution Caution

This iView is available as of SAP ERP 6.0 Support Package Stack (SPS) 07 as part of the Web Dynpro Java-based process browser. To use it you must integrate it into your customer portal role. For more information, see SAP Note 987455.

As of SAP ERP 6.0 SPS09, the iViews HCM Process Overview and Related Activities Launcher (Search Processes) have a Web Dynpro ABAP-based version of the process browser. In future, new functions will only be provided for the Web Dynpro ABAP version. We therefore recommend that you use the iViews HCM Process Overview and Related Activities Launcher (Search Processes) as of SAP ERP 6.0 SPS09.

Integration

This iView is part of the process browser that the manager can use to get an overview of processes and related process steps. The following iViews also belong to the process browser:
- Process Overview
- Display Process Details
The Object and Data Provider (OADP) provides the list of processes and process steps.

Configuration

The following application parameters are defined for the iView in the standard system:

sap.xss.disablehdr=true

Determines that the iView header is not displayed.
ROLECONTEXT=MSS

Determines that the iView is available for the manager.
ee_presel

Determines that the employee is already defined in the search criteria when the iView is called.
ORGVIEW=MSS_PB

Determines that the iView uses the organizational structure view MSS_PB from Customizing for the OADP to display the process list.
STEPORGVIEW=MSS_PBS

Determines that the iView uses the organizational structure view MSS_PBS from Customizing for the OADP to display the process step list.
