Budget Availability

Use

Under the heading Budget Availability there are links available that are used to call up the iView Plan/Budget Consumption for internal orders or projects in a separate window.

Integration

The iView Plan/Budget Consumption is part of the Business Package for Common Parts and is called up using a Delta Link with the following application parameters:

  • Budget availability for orders:

    • type=B

    • application=O

    • isrscenariogroup=SBUDGETCONSUMPTIONO

    • dialog=DIA_CO_OPA_PLB

  • Budget availability for projects:

    • type=B

    • application=P

    • isrscenariogroup=SBUDGETCONSUMPTIONP

    • dialog=DIA_CO_PRP_PLB

The parameter dialog signifies that all users of the iView in question are allowed to enter personalization data using the specified personalization dialog themselves.

The parameter isrscenariogroup signifies that the scenarios of the Internal Service Request (ISR) that are contained in respective ISR scenario group detailed above are available to all users of the iView in question. Both ISR scenario groups cover the ISR scenario Budget Change (SRB3) . The ISR scenario group SBUDGETCONSUMPTIONO also covers ISR scenario Budget Transfer (SRBA) .

Prerequisites

  • You have created an order type with budget profile in the back-end system.

  • The active availability control for internal orders or projects in SAP ECC is being used.

  • You have made the settings for the scenarios detailed above as described under Internal Service Request (ISR) .

  • The prerequisites that apply to the iView Plan/Budget Consumption must be met. This means that you must have determined which objects are relevant to which user in Customizing of personalization under Personalization Data: Collective Processing . To do this, use the following personalization dialogs:

    • Internal orders: DIA_CO_OPA_PLB

    • Projects: DIA_CO_PRP_PLB

There are in addition the following personalization dialogs, which you can use to make user-specific settings for the relevant iView:

    • Budget availability for orders: DIA_PCD_MSS_BUDPLAN_OB

    • Budget availability for projects: DIA_PCD_MSS_BUDPLAN_PB

You can make the following individual settings:

    • You can specify that no data from cProjects is to be displayed, but only data from personalization ( Only CO Personalization field)

    • In field ISR Scenario Group you can specify that other ISR scenario groups than given in the delta link should be available to users of the iView.

    • In the field Personalization Dialog you can determine that the user of the iView should use a personalization dialog different from the dialog specified in the delta link.

      Note Note

The settings for ISR scenario group or personalization dialog are particularly useful if you want to assign various dialogs or ISR scenarios to different users. If all users are to use the same dialog or ISR scenario, you can change the corresponding application parameter in the delta link.

Bear in mind that the application parameter may overwrite any existing setting in the personalization dialog. If necessary, therefore, you have to delete the value for application parameter dialog or isrscenariogroup .

      End of the note.

Features

The iViews inform you about the budget availability of selected internal orders and projects. They compare the current actual value against the assigned value. According to the availability control setting, the current annual or overall budget and the relevant assigned value is displayed. The values in the column Assigned are determined using the active availability control in the back end, and correspond to those that are displayed in SAP ECC in the transactions for the budgeting of internal orders and projects.

The consumption of the current budget is shown as a percentage and as a bar graph. The bar graph is only displayed if the availability control for the internal order or project concerned has been activated in the budget profile. For additional information on activating the availability control, see the Implementation Guide (IMG) for Internal Orders under Budgeting and Availability Control or for the Project System and Start of the navigation path Costs Next navigation step Budget End of the navigation path .
