Plan Consumption

Use

Under the heading Plan Consumption there are links available that are used to call up the iView Plan/Budget Consumption for internal orders or projects in a separate window.

Integration

The iView Plan/Budget Consumption is part of the Business Package for Common Parts and is called up using a Delta Link with the following application parameters:

  • Plan consumption for orders:

    • type=P

    • application=O

    • dialog=DIA_CO_OPA_PLB

  • Plan consumption for projects:

    • type=P

    • application=P

    • dialog=DIA_CO_PRP_PLB

The parameter dialog signifies that all users of the iView in question are allowed to enter personalization data using the specified personalization dialog themselves.

Prerequisites

The prerequisites that apply to the iView Plan/Budget Consumption must be met. This means that you must have determined which objects are relevant to which user in Customizing of personalization under Personalization Data: Collective Processing . To do this, use the following personalization dialogs:

  • Internal orders: DIA_CO_OPA_PLB

  • Projects: DIA_CO_PRP_PLB

There are in addition the following personalization dialogs, which you can use to make user-specific settings for the relevant iView:

  • Plan consumption for orders: DIA_PCD_MSS_BUDPLAN_OP

  • Plan consumption for projects: DIA_PCD_MSS_BUDPLAN_PP

You can make the following settings individually:

  • You can specify that no data from cProjects is to be displayed, but only data from personalization ( Only CO Personalization field)

  • You can specify at which threshold the bar is not longer green but is displayed yellow (standard value 80%).

  • In the field Personalization Dialog you can determine that the user of the iView should use a personalization dialog different from the dialog specified in the delta link. This setting is particularly useful if you want to assign various dialogs to different users. If all users are to use the same dialog, you can also change the corresponding application parameter in the delta link.

    Bear in mind that the application parameter may overwrite any existing setting in the personalization dialog. If necessary, therefore, you have to delete the value for application parameter dialog .

Features

The iViews inform you about the plan consumption of selected internal orders or projects. They compare the current manual plan value against the assigned value. The values are based on the fiscal year specified in personalization.

The percentage consumed is also shown in a bar graph. The graphic is not displayed whenever the calculated assigned value is zero.

The manual planned value displayed is composed of the plan values that depend on the cost element, and the overall plan value (which depends on the year) of the internal order or project. It therefore corresponds to the plan total from overall planning for the internal orders or projects.

The values in the column Assigned are calculated as follows: Assigned = Actual + Commitment. These two values correspond to the actual and commitment figures as displayed in SAP ECC in transactions for planning internal orders and projects.
