Use

Different sets of configuration data can exist for generic Web Dynpro components or Web Dynpro applications that can each determine the behavior and layout of the component or application (selection screen, results list, and so on) for a particular iView. The configuration is assigned to the iView via the Configuration Name iView property.

In the standard system, an appropriate configuration is defined in the affected Web Dynpro ABAP iViews of the Business Package for Manager Self-Service. However, for the Web Dynpro applications of some iViews, you can also create your own configurations to adapt the behavior and layout to suit your requirements.
