Subworkflow ApprovePCR (WS500000033)

Use

To depict an approval step within an approval chain, you can use the subworkflow ApprovePCR.

Features

As import element of the workflow container, you enter, as well a reference to the change request, the ID of the role that determines the approver.

The approval step depicts the following logic: a change request can be approved, rejected, or sent back to the request author. If it is approved, there is no subsequent action. If it is rejected, the system sends an e-mail to the request author.

Note that for this, you must create the e-mail address in the Communication infotype (0105), and set up the option for sending e-mails in your system.

If the change request is sent back to the request author, the author can resend the request after changing the data, or complete the request without taking further action.
