This iView provides a manager with the functions he or she requires to create new requisition requests for the recruitment requirements of the organizational units in his or her area of responsibility. Depending on the implementation, an approval step can also be triggered before creating the requisition request.
The manager can select one of four start modes for this application:
Create requisition based on existing position
Create requisition based on existing job
Create requisition based on previous requisition (Previous Request)
Create requisition without referring to existing objects (Start Without Reference)
The manager can use the four start parameters to decide which information the system is to add to the form automatically:
If the manager wants to create a requisition using the Position parameter, he or she must select a position and the data for this position is added to the form automatically.
If he or she wants to create a requisition request using the Job parameter, the data for the job is added to the form automatically.
If he or she wants to create a requisition using the Previous Request parameter, the data from this requisition is added to the form automatically.
If he or she wants to create a requisition using the Start Without Reference parameter, only the system default data for the requisition, such as the manager’s name; is added to the form automatically.
The standard system includes two forms:
Simple Requisition Request
Extended Requisition Request
In the
Simple Requisition Request,
the manager need only enter a minimal amount of data to create a requisition. Any missing data is entered later by the recruiter. The
Simple Requisition Request
is delivered with a workflow template that does not require that a higher-level manager approves the creation of the requisition. The workflow directly creates a requisition request object (NB) in the background, with the status
In Process
. In the
Status Overview
iView, the manager sees the status
Completed
for the requisition request
.
The
Extended Requisition Request
is more complex. The manager can enter numerous specifications for the process in this form. The
Extended Requisition Request
is delivered with a workflow template that requires that a higher-level manager approves the creation of the requisition. As soon as the request is approved, the system creates the requisition request object (NB) in the background, with the status
In Process
.
The Web application
New Requisition Request
uses the Internal Service Request (ISR) form framework for creating and processing requisition requests. The forms are displayed using the integrated solution for forms (Interactive Forms for Adobe Software). The manager creates a requisition that is sent via workflow. Depending on the type of requisition (
Simple
or
Extended Requisition Request
, see above), the workflow process must be approved by the higher-level manager before the data is transferred to the SAP E-Recruiting system.
The Web application
New Requisition Request
is one of four applications in the
Recruitment
area. It is integrated with the SAP E-Recruiting 3.0 or higher.
The
Create Requisition Request
function enables the manager to create requisition request forms. However, the actual recruitment process for the approval of requisition requests runs in the SAP E-Recruiting system.
To display data entries in a table, the
New Requisition Request
application uses the
Object and Data Provider
(OADP). This is provided that you have created and maintained the structures in
Organizational Management
. You can use the OADP to display additional information in a column.

Internal Service Request (ISR)
The requisition request forms are based on the Internal Service Request (ISR) Framework. ISR is a cross-application tool that enables you to organize your internal requests for business services and the related processes. The ISR framework supports default data for forms, input checks, and an approval workflow.
After the requisition has been requested, the form is sent using an SAP Workflow work item to the higher-level manager for approval. The approver receives the work item in his or her UWL. The UWL contains all work items that the user needs to process.
The following technical prerequisites must be fulfilled for the Web application
New Requisition Request:
For general prerequisites, see the prerequisites for the Recruitment area.
The start parameters Position, Job, and Previous Requisition Request use the Object and Data Provider to display entries. You can use the OADP to determine which columns are displayed for additional data; see also OADP Settings for New Requisition Request .
