Personnel Change Request (PCR) Forms

Unlike the Personnel Change Request application, here the user can skip the steps to select the employee and the form, and instead go directly to the relevant form. For more information, see Personnel Change Requests: Direct Launch .

Self-Service for My Employee

This area, as delivered, includes sample applications. You can customize this area. For example, you can add or remove forms (including customer PCR forms).

The manager can also use this area to carry out Employee Self-Service (ESS) applications on behalf of his or her employees, provided that the manager has been assigned the required authorization for these ESS applications. This is especially useful if the employee does not have access to a terminal at his or her workstation.

In addition, this area has links to applications for starting and searching for processes, and for displaying the Digital Personnel File for the selected employee. For more information, see Related Activities Launcher .

In the Employee Search iView, the manager selects the employee whose data is to be displayed in the iView Related Activities .

The Related Activities iView is part of the General Information, Compensation Information, and Personnel Development pages.

All iViews on these pages are called by one Web Dynpro application for each page. In the standard system, they are not standalone applications, since the user runs significant parts of the data selection for all iViews on this page centrally, using a master iView. For more information about how you can include such iViews in other places in your portal, see the documentation for the Business Package for Self-Service Administrator .

PCR forms must already exist in the system in order for the links to these forms to be displayed in the iView.

For the Self-Service for My Employee options to be displayed in the Related Activities iView, you must have implemented Web Dynpro for ESS. In addition, the manager must have been assigned the appropriate authorization to perform these services on behalf of his or her employees.
