Measurement Results

Use

The measurement program enters the measurement results in a table and the previous results are overwritten.

The checks in the measurement program are performed in the background and determine the following information, which is presented in the measurement log:

• Deleted users

  Number of users that have been deleted in the last week, last four weeks, or last twelve weeks.

• Users with expired validity dates

  Number of users whose validity period expired in the last week, last four weeks, or last twelve weeks.

• Number of users that have logged on to the system after their validity expired

• Number of measured users of the Mobile Engine

• Highest number of a user's multiple logons to the system

• List of users by category

  Shows the distribution of users to the technical user types.

• Automatically excluded, SAP technical users

  Shows the technical users automatically delivered by SAP, which are made available free-of-charge

• Message about recording the Engine measurement

  Outputs a warning if the recording of the data for time-dependent Engine measurements only began after the specified measurement period.

• As of SAP R/3 4.6C: Number and distribution of the users for which a developer key (SSCR key) was installed.

• Number of chargeable objects created by anonymous and known users

As of Support Package 13, the measurement log is displayed in PDF format and has the following structure:

• System information

• Comments (if any exist)

• Included Clients

• Excluded Clients

The results of the included and excluded clients are divided into:

• User data

• Engine data

• Activity checks

• The activity checks consist of:

  • Results for Workbench users

    Number of measured users that were recorded as the last user to change source code in the past twelve months

  • Results for mobile device users

    Number of measured users of the Mobile Engine

  • Distribution of technical users types

    Shows the distribution of users to the technical user types

  • Automatically excluded SAP technical users

    Shows the technical users automatically delivered by SAP, which are made available free-of-charge

  • Highest number of a user's multiple logons to the system

  • Users with expired validity dates

    Number of users whose validity period expired in the last week, last four weeks, or last twelve weeks

  • Number of users that have logged on to the system after their validity expired

  • Results of the activity checks

    Shows the results of the checks:

    • Volume of Work

    • Working Time

    • Cross-Component Usage

    The results are shown in corresponding value pairs (number/table).

  • Results for Professional/Limited Professional users

    Number of measured users that are classified either as employees or as ESS users, and that have made changes to tables that do not relate to self-services.

You have measured the system and can now check the results determined with the client-specific measurement statistics. The results determined (measured users, Engines) are listed by client in the measurement statistics.
