Additional Log Messages

Use

Some applications also provide additional log messages for changes related to critical portal configurations. For example, the following changes are logged:

• Changes to the Desktop Rule Collection, made in the Rules editor

• Enabling or disabling the Short URLs feature

• Enabling, disabling or clearing of the navigation cache or OBN cache

The additional message includes more specific details about each change, such as the name of the user and the name of the application. This enables tracing changes to critical portal configurations, for supportability purposes. The format of this message is as follows:

User [user name] performed operation [operation name] on target object [object name] in application [application name]. Additional Info: [additional information].
