Navigating in Portal on Device
Use
In portal on device, the Launch in New Window property enables you to determine whether a navigation node opens within the portal content area, in a new portal window, or in a new browser window.
The following table describes the property values that can be used in portal on device, and explains when to use each value:

Display in Separate Headerless Portal Window |
Content item is displayed in a new portal window. You can use zooming gestures and you can close the window. When you close the window, you return to the standard portal on device framework page. |
Use this value for content that has not been adapted for display in a mobile UI, and requires zooming capabilities. |

Display in Separate Window |
Content item is displayed in a new browser window, in full screen mode, without the capabilities of the mobile framework page. When you close the window, you return to the standard portal on device framework page. |
Use this value for content that should not be run within an iFrame. |
