Managing EAR and JAR Files in a Project

Procedure

The following table list the tasks that you can perform with the EAR and JAR files in the portal application projects:

Exporting an EAR file

  1. Choose Start of the navigation pathFile Next navigation step Export Next navigation step  EAR FileEnd of the navigation path. Choose Next .

  2. Select a project where the EAR file is located. Choose Next .

  3. Choose Finish .

Adding a JAR file

  1. Open the project context menu and choose Start of the navigation pathProperties Next navigation step  Java Build PathEnd of the navigation path.

  2. Choose the Libraries tag.

  3. Choose Add External JARs... and browse to the location of the file.

Removing a JAR file

  1. Open the project context menu and choose Start of the navigation pathProperties Next navigation step  Java Build PathEnd of the navigation path.

  2. Choose the Libraries tag.

  3. To remove a JAR file, select it and choose the Remove .
