Adding Tooltips to Navigation Nodes

Context

You can add tooltips to navigation nodes. The tooltips appear when the user hovers the cursor over the navigation node in the following locations:

  • Top-level navigation

  • Detailed navigation

  • Workset maps and pictograms

  • Service maps and pictograms

Procedure


  1. From the Portal Catalog, open the Properties editor of the object to which you want to add a tooltip.

  2. From the Show Category dropdown list, choose Navigation .

  3. Choose Modify Properties to activate the editor.

  4. Locate the Tooltip for the Navigation Node property and enter the tooltip text.

  5. Choose Save .
