Example: Adding a Logo and Splash Screen

Use

You can modify logos and images delivered by SAP or replace them with your own logos and images. You can also provide a splash screen to be viewed when opening the portal.

Procedure

You cannot save changes to the themes provided by SAP - you must save the theme under a different name and assign the new theme to the relevant portal desktop.

Adding a Logo or Image

  1. Go to Start of the navigation pathContent Administration Next navigation step Portal Display Next navigation step Portal Themes Next navigation step Theme EditorEnd of the navigation path.

  2. Select the theme to which you want to add a logo.

  3. In the Theme editor, in the Ajax Framework Page Outer Frame section, select Masthead .

  4. In the URL to Logo property, enter a URL.

  5. Save your changes.

Providing a Splash Screen

  1. Go to Start of the navigation pathContent Administration Next navigation step Portal Display Next navigation step Portal Themes Next navigation step Theme EditorEnd of the navigation path.

  2. Select the theme to which you want to add a splash screen.

  3. In the Theme editor, in the Ajax Framework Page Outer Frame section, select Layout .

  4. In the URL to Splash Screen Image property, enter a URL.

  5. Save your changes.
