Enable Event Driven Configuration

Describes how to enable an Event Driven Configuration for modules using SAP S/4HANA workflows and SAP Fieldglass workflows.

Prerequisites

Only users with Configuration Manager permissions can perform these tasks.

Context

An Event Driven Config must be set up for each module used.

Procedure

  1. From the Configuration Manager Self-Service Dashboard, select Event Driven Config.
  2. To add a new event-driven configuration, select New on the Event-Driven Config List page.
  3. Enter the information for each module as described below and in the Module Configuration Tables:

    1. In the Event Driven Config ID field, enter the company code (that the config is being enabled for), followed by the module name, for example, [company code]_SOW_PR_PUSH.

    2. In the Test End Point and/or Prod End Point field, enter the required end point for the SAP S/4HANA HCI/CPI middleware.

    3. In the Custom Script field, enter the required script ID to associate the event driven config with the corresponding custom script of the same name.
