Displaying Terms Not Found in SAPterm Searches

Context

SAPterm keeps track of all unsuccessful searches started from the basic search in the initial SAPterm screen. Use the corresponding logs to find and evaluate potential term candidates to be entered in SAPterm.

Procedure

In the initial SAPterm screen choose Utilities Display Terms Not Found.
Set the relevant parameters in the List of Terminology Queries screen. In the Term field, use a single asterisk (*) to see all failed searches for a given set of parameters, or enter specific terms or parts of terms combined with asterisks to see the relevant entries.

Note

Parameters that create lists with very large numbers of failed searches (for example, individual instances of a single character from across all languages) may exceed the query timeout threshold and result in an error.
Choose Execute to start the function. The List of Unsuccessful Search Queries in SAPterm appears with the failed searches, the number of times the search took place, and the timestamp of the latest failed search.
Use the standard list viewer functions to sort and download the failed search log entries as required.
