Selecting Products in SAPterm

Purpose

Use this function to provide official product names as context-specific parameters for SAPterm entries. SAPterm users who enter concepts with the same definition may then add different terms for different products.

Example

A parked document in product A is called a parked journal entry in product B. The SAPterm entry supports both terms as valid for the respective products.

Prerequisites

The function is restricted to users with SAPterm administrator authorization.

The complete list of products available as possible entries must be entered with the metadata in table STERM_PROD_TERM.

Procedure

In the initial SAPterm screen choose Administration Global Settings Products.
Select the desired product in the Add Products screen and choose Create to add it to the list of permitted products. Choose Delete to remove a product from the list.
