Copying SAPterm Settings

Purpose

Replicate SAPterm terminology database settings from one server to another to save time setting up or updating the settings of another instance of SAPterm.

Prerequisites

The function is restricted to users with SAPterm administrator authorization.

The target server allows remote function callup (RFC) from the server starting the copying function and from the source server, if this is different.

Procedure

  1. In the initial SAPterm screen, choose Start of the navigation pathAdministration Next navigation step Global Settings Next navigation step System Settings Next navigation step Copy SettingsEnd of the navigation path.

    Enter the respective From System and To System values and choose Continue to copy the settings. A system message will either confirm success or indicate failure.

    Choose Cancel to interrupt the procedure and leave SAPterm settings uncopied.
