Term Project Snapshots

Context

A snapshot in SAPterm is a set of statistics generated at a given time based on the predefined parameters of a term project and used as baselines to evaluate and compare past and current terminology work with remaining work.

Each snapshot belongs to a single term project. A snapshot for one project cannot be used to evaluate the statistics of another project, even if the projects otherwise have identical parameters.

Snapshots are stored with the date and time they were generated. SAPterm generates snapshots for all active projects automatically every week. SAPterm users can also create ad hoc snapshots at any time as follows.

Procedure

  1. In the initial SAPterm screen choose Start of the navigation pathUtilities Next navigation step Create Next navigation step Project SnapshotEnd of the navigation path. The Create Snapshot screen appears.
  2. Enter the Project number or select it from the F4 Help.
  3. Choose Create Snapshot. The Snapshot successfully created message appears as confirmation.
The snapshot is available in the F4 Help selection the next time you run the Project Data function and select a project number.
