Noun |
Nouns are words or expressions that refer to persons, places, things, circumstances or attributes. Nouns also have the following characteristics:

Proper Noun |
Proper nouns are words or expressions that represent a unique entity, such as London, Jupiter, or SAP. |

Verb |
Verbs identify actions. Verbs can be conjugated. |

Adjective |
Adjectives define properties of nouns. Adjectives can be declined like nouns. |

Adverb |
Adverbs describe situations. They are neither declined nor conjugated. Adverbs answer the questions How, When, or Where? |
