SAP HANA Transport for ABAP (HTA) (New)

The SAP HANA Transport for ABAP is available for mixed transports of SAP HANA objects and ABAP objects, more specifically for ABAP for SAP HANA applications whose development object content is closely interconnected in ABAP and SAP HANA and which needs to be transported together.

SAP HANA Transport for ABAP makes it possible to synchronize objects and packages from the SAP HANA repository to the SAP HANA Transport for ABAP repository (HTA repository) in the ABAP system and add them to a transport request. After it has been released, this transport request can be imported into follow-on systems using Transport Management System. This imports the SAP HANA objects into the SAP HANA system and activates them there.

HTA is the successor to HANA Transport Container (HTC), which was used for mixed transports of ABAP objects and SAP HANA objects up to SAP NetWeaver 7.4 SPS 10 and which can be used to transport complete delivery units (DUs). HTC can be used further for a transition period.
