Fine-Tuning the Execution of SADL-Based Gateway Services

As of SAP NetWeaver 7.4 SP08, you can:
  • Use Core Data Services (CDS) views with parameters in an OData service implemented by SADL. This enables you, for example, to define CDS views with conditions on database fields that are not elements of these CDS views.
  • Enrich OData entities of an existing OData service with customer-specific extension fields. This enables you to use these fields in UIs so that, for example, you can display them in a form or a list.
