Additional Status Information Displayed (New)
now shows the following information:

Database Memory and CPU
Here, you can see the memory used relative to the allocated memory, and the actual CPU usage and available CPUs. Choose either option to go to the Services overview.

Choose either option to go to the Disks overview.
Landscape Section (New)
To check that your system is running and the status of its hosts and processes, choose .
Display Statement String (New)
You can display a complete statement, with its structure.
In DBA Cockpit, choose . The Explain function displays the access strategy and the execution plan. This information can be displayed as a graphic.
Trace Configuration (New)
On the Trace Configuration screen, you can see the status, and configure the traces. If you have authorization, you can change the options for each trace type. If a user trace exists, the options User Trace and Delete User Trace are available. Otherwise these options are grayed out.

Analyzing Expensive Statements (New)
In DBA Cockpit, choose . New functionality is available to explain, explain (graphically), and trace the execution of SQL statements.
SQL Plan Cache (New)
In DBA Cockpit, choose .
Tables/Views (Changed)
In DBA Cockpit, choose . DBA Cockpit displays the estimated maximum size in memory for a table and its size on disk.
Merged Diagnosis Files (New)
In DBA Cockpit, choose . You can merge trace and log files into one file. This allows you, for example, to search for traces from a specific date.
Changes to the User Interface
The functions have been regrouped to improve logical consistency. So, several familiar functions are now to be found in different locations:

The Disks section has been merged with the Volumes section. Go to .

The new Execution Trace is similar to the Explain function. Whereas with Explain, the statement is not executed, with Execution Trace, the statement is really executed and analyzed at the same time. The trace can be downloaded.

You can display an overview of all the partitions for a particular table. It is now possible to see which partitions a table is stored on.

Scheduling Data Backups with External Backup Tools (New)
In the DBA Planning Calendar it is now possible to schedule data backups with the Backint for SAP HANA interface.
Displaying the SAP HANA License Key (New)
Choose to view details about your SAP HANA license key. You can also install a new license key here.
Additional System Information (New)
Choose to view the following system information: Component memory usage, connection attempts and status, database information, HANA usage, lock waiting history, merge statistics, open transactions, overall workload, schema size of loaded tables, session context, sessions, size of tables on disk, used memory by tables, and column tables memory usage.
