SAP MMC Snapshots in the SAP System (New)

An SAP MMC snapshot is used to freeze the state of an SAP system as you see it in SAP MMC at a particular point in time, in order to be able to view it again later offline with SAP MMC. A snapshot is a collection of Web service responses from the application server to the SAP MMC. Snapshots are provided in a zip archive.

Displaying the C Call Stack for Processes (New)

The C call stack shows the current status of a process.

To display the C call stack for one or more processes, the following new tool is available:
  • sapstack

The SIGUSR2 signal used in earlier releases can no longer be used to write the C call stack to the developer trace.

Displaying Formula Parameters (New)

Profile parameter values in instance profiles can consist of arithmetical formulas too. All formula parameters of an application server instance can be displayed in transaction RZ11 (maintain profile parameters). Here you can display a list of formula parameters that were manually overwritten in the instance profile. You can also compare the formula values of the kernel profile with the overwritten values.
