Data Aging (New and Changed)
This document provides you with an overview of the new additions and changes to Data Aging in SAP NetWeaver 7.4 SP10.
Schedule Stop
When you schedule a data aging run you can now enter the maximum runtime in minutes. You use this field to indicate the time in minutes after which the data aging run has to be stopped.
Application-Specific Statistics
If there are data aging runs, you can view the statistics for a run by using the Statistics for Run button. You can also choose the Details icon to view the SAP application-specific statistics for the selected data aging object. You call the transaction maintained by the SAP application in DAGOBJ for the selected data aging object to view the application-specific statistics. If the transaction is not maintained in DAGOBJ for the selected data aging object, a message is displayed.
Enhancements in Undo Run
The Selection Reference field enables the SAP applications to set the filter for movement of data from the cold area to the hot area. The applications have to maintain the filters used for the Selection Reference field. The application runtime class provides the logic for filtering the data for the movement of data from the cold area to the hot area. This field displays the F4 help only if the application implements the method (GET_UNDO_F4_HELP_DATA) in its application class. This method returns the F4 values for the Selection Reference field. If the application does not implement this method and uses the F4 help for the Selection Reference field, a message is displayed. If the method is implemented by the application, the F4 help is displayed for the Selection Reference field. You can enter the values as a range or you can select multiple values
New Transaction for Undo Run
You can use the transaction DAG_UNDO to view all of the undo runs.
