Copying Planning Functions (New)

A planning function type is a procedure that can be parameterized and that change transaction data in BW Integrated Planning and in the Planning Application Kit. You can also implement customer-specific planning function types, in order to implement specific procedures and apply them to transaction data. If you want to reuse a customer-specific planning function type and you only want to make slight modifications, you can copy the function type and modify it as required. This process is often quicker than creating all the parameters again as new parameters.
